Today, I went to the Rock Gem 'n' Bead Show held at the Great Yorkshire Grounds in Harrogate. I've never been to Harrogate before, it seems like a nice town even though the fair was near enough on the outskirts... So I didn't actually see much of the town itself.
The fair was fantastic! I went with a couple of friends who have been themselves a couple of times but at York racecourse.
I saw alot of things; sparkly beads and jewellery to fossils and minerals in all different shapes and sizes and colours!
This is me sat in an amethyst. It was like being sat in a really sparkly cave!
Then we found a stall we all liked; it was full of fossils and minerals in various stages, some raw and others shaped and polished.
It was definitely my favourite stall, it had so many shiny ammonits!
From another stall, I even found a mineral called Lemon Quartz, so of course I bought it!
Here is the website, see if there is one near you at any point, for me, it will be august and I cannot wait!
