So, I went to Crich Tramway Village again. need to make the most of the ticket and get my moneys worth!
Other than that, it was another grand day out. Mentioning that, I might watch Wallace and Gromit later!
When I arrived with my friends, we went to the Red Lion pub they have on site for a spot of lunch.
We all had Chicken pie with mushy peas and gravy. It was delicious!
I then washed it down with the pot of tea for one I had ordered with my pie and we were on our way to have our first tram ride of the day!
The first tram ride was on the Chesterfield 7. It was a very stripy tramcar! We sat on the outside balcony which was fantastic, especially on the way back to the village from the monument stop. It was so windy!
Back in the village, the next tram to ride on was the Blackpool 166. that was quite an old tram but it's wonderful it is still in service. Well at the museum anyway!
Once at the Monument stop, which is the end of the line, we walked up to the Crich Memorial Stand which is a Monument remembering those who fought in the War from the area. The views on the way up were stunning!
And the Monument was HUGE!
And the views from the top were brilliant!
I could even see the trams running!
And I learnt about this funny contraption...
Back on the Chesterfield 7, we thought we would try out the inside cabin. It wasn't as fun as the balcony but it was all lovely and wooden...
Back in the village, we had tea and cake at Rita's Tea Room, which was yummy!
Finally, we rode on the last tram, the Blackpool 236. If you recall from my first post of Crich back in July, this tramcar was running then too.
Our day had finally come to an end. Hopefully it won't be my last visit to this fantastic museum!
It is a brilliant day out so why not check it out here:
