Magical Christmas time

My very first Christmas! I have far too much to tell you about my festive celebration but in among all the carol singing, eating mince pies and somehow wrapping presents, I helped decorate the christmas tree...

I even climbed into a gigantic stocking and almost fell in!

The tree was fun to climb (shh! don't tell anyone i did that!)

But I definitely enjoyed admiring it from outside its branches!

Once Christmas day arrived, Christmas dinner was enough to feed me for a year! I somehow ate it all, I'm not sure how though...

New years eve was only round the corner and my friend Ammonite came to visit. We had a fantastic time playing chess. Though Ammonite still hasn't gotten to grips with his tentacles so the game took awhile to play...

We did however enjoy our portion of homemade trifle very much...

...and I even snuck in a Ferrero Rocher before the new year...

A walk in the woods and Betty's

Today, I went for a walk in a small wood next to York Racecourse. It isn't a very large wood but the weather was very pleasant and I very much enjoyed the sounds of bird song and even the rustling of the trees as the wind blew through them.

All the trees were incredibly tall...

...and great fun to climb and hide behind!

Hello!

After my walk, I needed to boost up my energy levels somehow. I was quite thirsty too. A walk into York city center offered a wide selection of cafes to try out. I decided to splash out and have one of the famous Betty's hot chocolates. It was incredible and I loved every mouthful!

So next time you're out walking, stop, take a deep breath and listen to your surroundings and take every second of it in. Then go and treat yourself!

My space wander

Today, I went for a wander in space. Not actual space (though that would be fun!) but a walk near York College.
I saw everything and fortunately for me, there were signposts along the way.

First ever trip to the seaside

This last week, I had my first trip to the seaside. it was also my first holiday too and I had a whale of a time! excuse the pun...
I didn't go far, only to Filey for a week but the sun was out everyday and the temperatures were soaring!

I played on the penny machines...

and in the arcades...

I went to the end of the Brigg...

and even saw a friend of mine, Herbert the Hermit Crab!

After a long day out on the beach, it was nice to just relax and watch some telly. Here I'm watching University Challenge. The challenge is to get at least 1 question right. If you do, you're clever!

Oh and I may have accidentally did a poo on the floor...

Today, 11 August 2013, I was born.

Today my life begins.

Today is the start of all the adventures to come.
